Based in North America, Schreiber Foods is a customer-brand leader in cream cheese, natural cheese, process cheese, beverages and yogurt. This major food company has come a long way since its start as a small cheese company in 1945. Today, Schreiber Foods has 9,000 employees at locations across five continents (in North America, Europe, South America, Asia and Africa). Such an expansive business infrastructure enables this food company to be an essential ingredient in its customers’ success. With annual sales of more than $5 billion, Schreiber Foods partners with the best retailers, restaurants, distributors and food manufacturers around the world.

The people of Schreiber Foods are truly at its heart – and the company works diligently to find great people with diverse backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, and provides opportunities to help them grow.

“We strive to foster an inclusive work environment where all our partners can thrive,” says the company. “We've increased our commitment to diversity and inclusion by creating an overarching Diversity and Inclusion Council, as well as resource groups for women, African Americans, Pride, Vets and more groups that give a voice to all of our partners.”

Your Refrigerated Supply Chain Solution

With such a complex business, Schreiber Foods has built an extensive end-to-end supply chain through Schreiber Logistics. The food company’s supply chain group, based in Green Bay, WI, is proud of how it turns its shipments to customers faster – with lower costs and better service.

Schreiber Logistics has built a sophisticated distribution and transportation network that moves more than 2 billion pounds of refrigerated product to its parent company’s customers in the U.S. each year. Now Schreiber Logistics offers those same efficiencies to others in the food industry through its refrigerated trucks so customers get the benefit of its massive scale and speed.

Schreiber Logistics already ships to an extensive list of customers across the country on a weekly or daily basis. It leverages the benefits of a massive distribution network built for efficiency and speed. For its customers, this means:

  • Improved Service, which includes higher on-time, in-full (OTIF), fresher product, daily to weekly shipments, and customer pickup or delivery options
  • Reduced costs, which includes distribution, transportation, end-to-end supply chain management, and administrative expenses
  • Reach new markets, which involves partnerships with retail, food service and chain customers as well as national distribution and carrier network

Schreiber Logistics’ end-to-end supply chain ranges from planning to inventory management and product delivery to customer pick up.
