Introducing ... Food For Thought

by Brian Everett, Publisher, on Dec 1, 2021 9:07:00 AM

Food Shippers of America (FSA) is introducing its newly designed and formatted e-newsletter, Food For Thought, on Dec. 22. After thorough member research and gaining a voice of the food shipper earlier this year, we found that transportation, logistics and supply chain decision-makers are looking for the following:

  • Given Food Shippers of America is the only association exclusively focused on this industry, FSA should be the source of all things food supply chain. In fact, we have now incorporated this as tagline of our new brand.
  • Food shippers want even more relevant information from FSA, covering issues that range from capacity, rates and supply chain disruption to multimodal transportation strategy, leveraging technology, and talent management and retention.
  • Food shippers want this relevant information more frequently. Therefore, we're publishing our e-newsletter bi-weekly (rather than once a month, which was the frequency of our previous e-newsletter).

Food For Thought will be published by MindShare Strategies, an association management and marketing firm that has specialized exclusively in the transportation, logistics and supply chain industry for the more than 20 years. The editorial team at MindShare Strategies has more than more than 100 years combined experience in transportation, logistics and supply chain management.

Brian Everett, Senior Partner of MindShare, will serve as Group Editorial Director and Publisher of Food For Thought, as well as FSA's newly designed print and digital magazine, Food Chain Digest. Everett has more than 25 years experience in transportation and supply chain and currently serves as Strategy Advisor for the Women In Trucking Association. Everett previously was Executive Director for NASSTRAC for 11 years as well as the lead marketing executive with C.H. Robinson for 10 years. As MindShare's Account Executive and Project Manager, Cassidy Haley serves as the primary contact for those interested in print and digital advertising or sponsored content opportunities.
