Noël Perry

Noël Perry

Noël Perry is the rare economist who specializes in freight transportation. He has followed that passion for over 50 years, beginning on a loading dock, then truck driving, airborne navigation in Vietnam, study at Harvard University, market research at Cummins Engine, CSX and Schneider National, and now as a leading consultant. Currently he is a Principal at Transport Futures. You will see and hear his work in frequently in the national logistical and business media and at conferences throughout the nation. Perry has done work for Truckstop.com, the major load board, and FTR Intelligence. Note that Transport Futures is the third iteration of his consulting business, preceded by Transport Fundamentals and Transportation Economics. He has changed the name, and to some extent the content, to emphasize his focus on the radical changes facing North American supply chains. As a child of the pre-interstate days and a young professional of the pre-regulatory and pre-computer days, Perry has spent a lifetime, experiencing and interpreting radical change in the logistical landscape. That this round of change will dwarf what has gone before fills him with excitement.
